Purposeful Breeding
Behind every successful sport horse you will find skilled and dedicated breeders.
The breeder behind Gaspard is Angelica Lauritsen, who returned to breeding after several years’ break. Angelica set out with the goal of breeding riding horses with a focus on movement and performance. That’s why Gaspard’s quality and achievements are no coincidence. He is the result of purposeful breeding, with a clear aim to create a riding horse that excels both in sport and breeding.
Sold as a Premium Stallion at Auction
At 2.5 years old, Gaspard was licensed as a premium stallion and subsequently sold at the Trakehner Verband auction to Nicole Derlin, who has since invested in his training.
At the beginning of 2025, he arrived at Hesselhoej, where he continues his education and is available as a breeding stallion for breeders worldwide.
Together with his rider, Cecilie Hedegaard, Gaspard has qualified for the World Breeding Championships for 7-year-olds – as part of the German team. A truly remarkable achievement, reflecting both top-quality breeding and focused training.
